As soon as you log in to MD Coder on the handheld application you will be welcomed with an on-device welcome guide. The first time you browse the application you will be greeted with Tip Screens that disappear with a click. You can always access the guides and tips screens from the main menu on the device. Whenever we update the application with new features, you will receive an email with our release notes, how-to's and the welcome guides will be updated.

We will create this quick customized tutorial for you and send it to your group. MD Coder is the first and only Physician Charge Capture solution that supports user-defined fields and we know that you are going to love what it can do for you and your group. You (the Physician or the Administrator) of the system can create any user-defined field you would like and as many as you would like on our web portal. This field can be attached at the patient level, charge level or visit level. It can me a pick-list, a calendar item, a drop-down and more. Once the field is created, you can assign it to one person in the group or everyone and the next time they sync their device - it will be there. It can be also be made an optional or required field. The days of waiting for a something as basic as a new field are done. Yes, these fields will map to our HL7 engine making for a quick and seamless update to your integration engine.
We monitor each handheld on our system, each database, and the overall health of our system in real-time. We have a real-time auditing system that can track the usage, the performance and the time-stamps of each and every record. We also have a separate monitoring system for our HL7 engine should anything fail to transport.
